The Fairhaven Singers, under Musical Director Ralph Woodward, have earned a reputation for innovative programming and high-quality performances. Their repertoire ranges widely, from intimate evenings of a cappella music to major orchestral works with world-class soloists, but every concert offers the Fairhavens' trademark energy, quality and warmth.

In a town where there is no shortage of concerts to choose from, the Fairhavens are proud to offer a refreshing selection of pieces, sourced from all over the world and ranging in date from the thirteenth century to the twenty-first.

The most expert listener will find something new at a Fairhaven concert; the new enthusiast can enjoy an exciting introduction to choral music

Rehearsals are held in Queens' College Chapel each Tuesday in term time, from 7.45 to 9.30pm. We occasionally require more singers; please contact Ralph Woodward on 01223 354377, or by email at musicdirector@fairhavensingers.org.uk, to check vacancies. A prerequisite of membership is the ability to sight-sing.

The new Fairhaven Singers CD!

The Fairhaven Singers' first professional recording, The Blue Skies that Sparkle (Priory PRCD 889), is now available for purchase. The CD features some of the music performed in last summer’s concerts along with other favourites, and will have wide appeal not only to the connoisseur but also to the new enthusiast.

Each year, the Singers aim to undertake some concerts for charity. If you are fund-raising and would like to discuss how we might assist, please contact the Chairman, Gareth Hayward, by email at chairman@fairhavensingers.org.uk.

A number of major projects are planned and we welcome donations and sponsorship; these would greatly assist the choir under the Gift Aid scheme for registered charities. If you or your company can assist, please contact the Chairman.
