The Fairhaven Singers number between 30 and 40 and perform in Cambridge, undertaking four or five concerts a year. Their repertoire ranges from Renaissance and Baroque to twentieth century music, and from a cappella to major works with full orchestra accompaniment.
The Orlando Singers is a chamber choir of twenty or so voices, based in Cambridge (England). The choir's repertoire has ranged from the 15th century to contemporary works.
The North Polar Sequence can be used to estimate the brightness of the faintest star visible to the naked eye. Simply work through the sequence until you come to the point at which they are no longer visible.
